Privacy policy
Short and direct: what we keep, why, for how long, and how you get it deleted.
Who we are
The data controller for ourwedplan.com is Christos Karytsas, in Greece. For anything concerning your personal data, write to privacy@ourwedplan.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form: your name, email, what you are interested in, your message, your wedding date if you fill it in (it is stored inside the message text), and the page language. We do not store your IP address in our database, we set no cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Our host (Vercel) keeps short-lived technical logs that necessarily include your IP address.
Why we need it
To answer your enquiry and talk about your wedding. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, together with steps taken prior to a possible agreement. We send no newsletter, build no profiles, and do not sell your details.
Who else sees it
We use the following providers, each for a specific purpose: Supabase (the database your enquiry is stored in), Resend (delivers the notification to our inbox), Vercel (hosts the site), and Cloudflare Email Routing together with Google Gmail, which receive and hold the notification copy in our mailbox. The same applies to anything you send us at privacy@ourwedplan.com.
Where the data sits
Our database is hosted in the European Union (Ireland). Resend, Vercel, Cloudflare and Google are US-based companies, so some data is transferred outside the EEA, relying on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework that those providers operate under.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry is deleted automatically from our database 12 months after the day you contacted us. The copy sitting in our mailbox we delete by hand, within the same 12 months. Copies held by our providers — for example the sending logs Resend keeps — are retained for those providers' own retention periods, which we do not control. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We use no cookies. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookie and does not identify you — we see aggregate numbers only. That is why you will not see a consent banner here.
No other third party while you browse
Fonts and every other asset on this page load from our own server. Beyond the providers named above — in particular Vercel, which hosts the page and therefore necessarily sees your request — no other company receives data from your visit. There is no ad network, no tracker, and no third-party font.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and port your data. Email privacy@ourwedplan.com and we will reply within one month at the latest. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
